Abstract

Diagnosis and treatment of tumors of functionally significant areas of the brain in children is one of the most difficult and critically important tasks of modern neurosurgery. Modern neuroimaging techniques, such as fMRI and CT-MRI, make it possible to accurately determine the location of a tumor and its interaction with critically important functional areas, which is the key to planning neurosurgical intervention and minimizing neurological risks.
