Abstract

Ensuring airway patency is one of the important clinical aspects in pediatric surgical practice. In surgeries related to the maxillofacial area, tracheal intubation can be problematic, and difficult intubation is observed in 4–18% of cases. In such situations, the retrograde intubation method is recommended as an alternative to conventional techniques.
