Abstract

Anus ectopia (AE) is a condition in which the anal opening is located in an abnormal position, while the anus remains functionally intact with preserved anatomical structures of the anal canal. It is more commonly observed in girls. The choice of surgical treatment strategy is a crucial factor in reducing the rehabilitation period.
