Herald of the National Children's Medical Center

Herald of the National Children's Medical Center is a peer-reviewed scientific medical journal published by the National Children's Medical Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The journal focuses on Pediatrics, Perinatology and Child Health, including research on the health, development, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of newborns, infants, children and adolescents. ISSN: 2181-3353.

Beginning with the first issue of 2026, the journal applies an updated editorial and publishing policy developed with reference to internationally recognized principles and recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), as well as the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing applied by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). The updated framework covers manuscript requirements, editorial assessment, independent peer review, research and publication ethics, authorship, conflicts of interest, data transparency, use of artificial intelligence, and post-publication procedures.

Publishing support and technical operation of the journal platform are provided by I-EDU GROUP LLC. Publishing and technical support do not influence editorial decisions. Decisions regarding manuscript assessment, peer review, revision, acceptance or rejection remain under the exclusive responsibility of the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board.

The journal supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3 — Good Health and Well-Being, and, where relevant to child health, SDG 2 — Zero Hunger, SDG 6 — Clean Water and Sanitation, and SDG 10 — Reduced Inequalities.
