Prevalence and Risk Factors of Essential Arterial Hypertension in Children

FULL TEXT:

Abstract

In recent years, essential arterial hypertension (EAH) has been one of the most pressing medical problems worldwide. The origins of adult EAG lie in childhood. From 40% to 65% of elevated blood pressure in children passes into ischemic and hypertensive diseases in adults. The high frequency of EAG in children, late diagnosis and ineffectiveness of preventive work require the development of measures for early diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
