Results of Echinococcectomy of the Liver in Children
FULL TEXT:
Abstract
Liver echinococcosis in children represents a serious parasitic pathology that requires timely surgical intervention. The choice of the optimal surgical treatment method—laparoscopic or open surgery—remains a subject of debate, especially in pediatric practice. Modern surgical trends aim toward minimally invasive procedures; however, the effectiveness and safety of such approaches in children require further investigation.
